The Summer of the Beautiful White Horse
Do you think Maurad is crazy?
No, I do not think Maurad is crazy. He may be odd, but he is not crazy. Although he woke up his cousin at 4 in the morning, he had a reason behind it. For example, "We've got to take him back before everybody in the world is up and about (page 5)." Another reason people think he is crazy is because he randomly sings, but a lot of people do that. Also, having a way with people and animals is nothing strange. For instance, "I have a way with horses (page 4)." and "IHe may be seen as crazy because he is a creative and imaginative thinker.

A moral is a principle of right or wrong behavior.
Some morals that have been passed down to me are to always hold open doors for women and girls, to always say thank you and please, and to not intrude. I can relate to the text because the members of my family are expected to follow these morals and exhibit them always. A moral expected from Mourad's family is honesty and trustworthiness.
